this is kai, and i will be going over stuff i bought recently. i did a lot of bank breaking and money burning and this doesn’t itch the surface of summer’s expenditure. so here we go….

birkenstock arizonas

from Jesus, San Luis Obispo white mommas, and streetwear fiends, it’s approved by everyone. one isn’t enough and my bostons needed a friend so I decided to buy the arizonas. also the leather ones are waterproof so thats neat.

hiking shorts

wide fit, COMFORTABLE AS HECK, didn’t have grey shorts so that was an excuse. the cotton is soft. extremely hefty construction.

todd synder officer inspired jeans

steal on these, 50% off. love the wide fit and the stretch on these. the pleats are beautiful and the wash and dye is a really rich and deep indigo. broke after this purchase.

vintage levis

i got a rommier, looser and wider fit. the 569. it’s incredible and the quality was spot on, soft but sturdy. the fades are cool and i see a lot of wears coming out of this thing.

us navy dungarees

flared. authentic military surplus. i look super zesty in these and my butt pops out a bunch but who minds?

l.l. bean tote

my l.l. bean tote bag. it’s handmade in the usa. i put a little bit of patriotism, for an added flair. it fits everything i need. and i feel super aesthetic.

vintage inspired wool ballcaps

i accomplished two things from this, i influenced colin to break the bank for one as well. i also now have headwear for the fall. these caps are actually made to last a lifetime and i’m super excited to wear these in the colder months.

berkeley zip up

cozy, comfortable, lowkey zip for the fall. had no reason to buy, i just felt like buying something at the gift shop, i cannot leave a store empty handed.

calvin klein vintage jeans

fits straight although advertised as loose. i like the fades on these jeans and i also like the thick denim used. i’m planning to pair this with simplicity, crisp white tees, linen shirts, knit sweaters from uniqlo and my onitsuka tigers.

new ben davis

needed another one, got another one. i shouldn’t have but i did. again the fit, price, quality is always consistent as this is my fourth pair.

this is colin. these are the items i bought during the Spring/Summer season. i’d like to think i spent less than kai but we’ll see

uniqlo cotton-linen blend overshirt jacket thing. super comfortable, light enough for spring/summer (bcas of the blend) but also heavy enough for fall. Got tons of use

thrifted a green vest with a suede outer layer and polyester interior from a korean brand called Wolsey (at least i think it’s korean). beautiful fit and color

bought this 100% cotton cable-knit sweater from Gap. normally Gap’s selection kinda sucks but this was at a great sale for a knit sweater; it’s thick and soft, just like kai

i got these on-sale for a beautiful price at Banana Republic. the stitching quality is kinda mid but the fit and real indigo dye make up for it. not to mention, i got it for $60. probably my most worn pair of jeans.

uniqlo brown trousers. good price overall but the quality and fit aren’t my favorite. maybe I’m just fat so I need to get slimmer. looks beautiful to the unsuspecting eye

i got this because I had a need for a tote that was reasonable quality. good price and, while the canvas material isn’t the best, the design is special to me because of my mother so it holds a special place.
